evem if it does rain, lorries going sideways in the dry is cool, I can just imagine them in the rain!!!!!!!!!!

Well what can I say, my mini is dead at the moment, after getting home from the trucks, my dad thought he had cured my my electrical miss, so took it for a quick spin and everything seemed good, so later took her down swansea, and then it started, the came back with a vengence, managed (just about) to get it back to ammanford then that was it!!!!!!
So my dad came to tow me home, oh poo, wheres my towing eye, behind my smoothed front bumper, oh poo, so in the end had to tow my mini home via the ALTERNATOR!!!!! held well mind, got home but have damaged the centre bar behind the grille.
oh the joys of ownign a mini, lol.

no not yet, the car has annoyed me so its jus in my garage looking sorry for itself but its definately an elecrical miss so will be starting to look for answers soon and sorting the damege out too.

well it has been a long while since any update on this mini, car still isn't running, but we know now its down to fuelling, so we are now on the look out for a carb to try on the car as everything else has been checked, so fingers crossed. I always did want to turn this car into a transformer, so here is a pic of my car as a transformer,  |

Ok well its been nearly a year since i last updated this thread!!!!
I'll admit I fell out of love with my minis last year.
The mini is still not running, as I dont know too much on the mechanical side of things its een my dad whos been trying to get it running, but unfortunately after trying EVERYTHING, its still not running, so for over a year now the car has just sat in my garage (carpeted and warm might I add, lol) gaining ALOT of dust. Basically the original carb was rebuilt, distributor rebuilt, new fuel pump, new plugs, leads, timing checked, spark checked and in theory it should have started, so it has now got to a point where we are going around in circles with no idea what to do next!!!!!
so u can see why i fell out of love with my minis!!!! But with mini 50 celebrations and the shows looking to be amazing, I have fallen back in love with them and want one on the road for some shows.
So i'm gonna needhelp getting this mini up and running and sold!!!

You would be a fool to get it running then sell it. You have checked everything so once its running it will be hopefully be a very reliable mini for hopefully a considerable amount of time.

Ok so finally after over a year of being off the road, we have found the culprit for it not starting, the condenser!!!!! So i'm sorting all the little bits that i wanted to sort before it went off the road, i.e. painting this and tidying that, got a couple of small things left to do now like fit the rear view mirror, bonnet and grille thenit will be MOTed before the weekend. Also about 4-5months ago i took the bonnet and boot for abit of airbrushing   both the same and i think it looks amazing. once its MOTd i'm going to wash and polish the hell out of it (as there is over a years worth of dust on it!!!) then do a little photo shoot at my house as i dont have any photos of the car finished, unfortunately i wont be insuring it so it will be up for sale here there and everywhere by next weekend, also on ebay. If anyone is interested offers around £3200 and the car is yours...... |

The car has got its MOT at half 9 this morning so once its back its being washesd, polished, i'm going to have a small photoshoot round the back of my house and then it will be for sale!!!! Hopefully!!! haha

well the mot didnt happen yesterday as the car conked out 200 yards before the mot centre, haha, nothing major though, over fueling.... all sorted now though, took it for mot this morning, and.......... it passed with no problems what so ever.
so for thhe last 3 hours i have been polishing her. and in about an hour will be taking those promised photos.
oh and by tommorow evening it will be on ebay. As i said earlier offers around £3200 and she is yours 6months tax and MOTed ready to go for the mini 50 celebrations!!!
