My Neon

Hey everyone
I passed my driving test two weeks ago, but i've had a 1991 Mini Neon for a couple of years now!
I used to practice in it but it isnt fit to drive really at the moment, and needs major restoration work before the MOT!

Me and my dad are restoring it, it is corroded in all the usual places, we're starting at the back of the car and have a rear valance and corner panels to weld on (got them from Jeremy 30 seconds away from my house), then the rest of the car is covered in holes !

The engine works perfectly though so it's just welding.

When the car's ready I hope to come on some drives ! I'll post some pictures soon too.

Stupidly I didn't take any pictures of all the holes!

BUT i took some pictures last week, so far, since July the back part of the car is almost completely re-welded now. Subframe ready to go back on. Put a new rear valance on, covered up loads of holes in the boots with good strong new metal (alot of old metal shelving from our house funnily enough), no corrosion in sight now!
