sorry my error its a 1987 mini mayfair, dosent have a servo, not sure about brake cylinders been off the road 8 years now  |

How many brake pipes have you got going to the back brakes,1 or 2??
Or have you got a 3 way union on the rear subframe.??

one brake line going from front to rear subby with a 3 way union on the subby individual lines to wheels from union  |

Well at least you haven't got a Diagonal Split braking system on there. They are a nightmare.  Sounds like you have a front / rear split system . I don't understand some MOT stations. If my Mini had 45% efficiency on the rear brakes my MOT tester would be congratulating me.  |

lol i love that, well at least i can say me rear brakes are good i spoke with a m8 that has brake rollers and he said i could stick it on them b4 taking her back in for the next mot looks like i will just have to wait and see with the results i will keep everyone posted, just waiting for me parts at present  |

a little pic that i took a few weeks ago think it looks ok appart from me grill which is sorted now lol  ended up epoxing me front end on in the end did not like the movement i could see in it when i drove down for the mot |

havent had a chance to run her into my m8s garage as yet, he said he would run her on the rollers for me and see if he can ballance them out better, he thinks its due to new drum brakes being applied. |

as promised here are the pics, i have decided to fibreglass the flip front in as i am not happy with the movement in it when i drive it, here is the top coat, skim of filler on top.  and now i have the paint pot to my gti i can spray her up  ;D |

right thought id update everyone on how rusty is doing, i have managed to get all equipment and founds together to finally get her sprayed, i started it yesterday when we had shed loads of snow, managed to keep the garage at 17 degrees which i was well impressed with considering it was around -1 outside anyway got my last coat of etch primer on to cover the little bits of filler i have added to get those wini dents out and all that i need to do now is wet and dry her and get the base and lacquer on. i decided to spray just one side of the car a.t.m just in case i am not up to the job, id be well gutted if i didn't get the finish to set her off but time will tell il pop some pics up l8er ;D
