thanks mate, it needs to be the old type with like squareish shape on the end of the arms as the newer rover ones won't work. hope that makes sense

have you been told you have to have it s.v.a'd? (major dvla check over) if not then you should be ok with making sure its done alright and forget about telling them. unless it has to be. im sure you can swing round that obstacle somehow

god knows but nothing but chips init mate, spoke to a car paint supplier + apparently never goes 100% hard. think i'll stick with the proper stuff as had to sand sons car down + the kernal cos of damage easily caused to it. maybe better if it rollererd on as you say

dug the kernal back out of it's hiding place in garage today + thought better continue rubbing it down again to shut phil up, no longer looking bright + yellow + more like patchwork quilt at the moment. hopefully get it sprayed up over next couple of weeks + all his toys put back in place ( well maybe )

personally if i where in the position of wanting to get rid then i'd finish off the prep, leave it in primer and MOT it then advertise it in a way that will make people want it as they could just put a top coat of their choice on it and they would have the cabrio they want
