Okay. Here's how i got my greasy mitts on this little beaut.
There is a small family run Motor Factors in town which also runs a garage service and repair business.
i called there one day for some parts etc and was talking to the owner in the workshop when i spotted the Mini in a corner.
Got chatting with him regarding the Mini because he knows i've always had one and he said the owner of the mini was thinking of selling it rather than spend money on it.
One thing led to another and before i knew it a wad of readies changed hands and the Mini was mine.
It lived in somebody elses garage for about 18 months before i moved to where i had enough garage space to store it.
It needs some work but not as bad as the Woody. The floor is 90% solid and it looks as if it's still got the original wings.
Some parts on this Mini are unique and very difficult to find.
Thankfully it still has a lot of the original bits and bobs.
Don't wait for any updates on this Mini. It is way down the list of things to do.
