A Blast From The Past

Here's a couple of photo's that I recently unearthed and I thought 'Biker' would be interested in seeing them: -


This was taken back in 1995 outside the Foresters Oaks Pub near Newport (Langston?) at the meeting for the now long defunct Gwent Mini Club and it has both our Minis together.


Here they are together again, but I think this is the old Strensham Services South, or is it the Services just off the M4 at Gowerton, Swansea? Thinking about it, I believe it was taken whilst we were on the way home after spending the weekend at the Donington Park Spares Show?

Either way the second one was taken during 1995 too.

i think the first one is either the old inn penllergaer (one of the origanal meet places for the old swm) or the pub in newport we used to meet in.
as for the second i remember it but dont remember where it was i seem to remember a small services just if a minor road not a motorway.

The first one is definitely the pub (Foresters Oaks) in Newport. The second one makes me think of the time we stopped off on the way home from Donington Park. But I'm really not certain though.

I did think it was Strensham South, which is quite possible too?

I wonder whose giving me the middle finger salute? LOL
