Also the 25 was a known to be a rot box. I think the only way your going to get a rustfree Mini is part with £2000 and get yourself a FG shell

got to be honest though mine is a 95 model and had not to much rust to replace

mine is a 95 too, and only had the sills replaced from what i can see, Corina's last mini was a 94 and was completly rotten. i try to stay away from engine management systems (emu,s) if its not points and plugs,,, whatever, so i aint had a late 90s mini, they all rust like hell tho,, all of em,,,

i had a nice p reg sportspack in a nice anthracite but the car had been garaged all its life,i replaced scuttle,a panels,both wings,considerable surgery in the boot pan,and lower bottom valance,the best part of the car was the engine although mpi it had m e d top end and bloody quick,but sense prevailed got rid,so yes stay away from 90 "s stick to buying a brand knew shell at least you know what you are getting [ money permitting ]
