Not a world record though is it? BMW's in it. Think it has to be all the same model like the scoobys.

As long as all the cars bear the same name, it's alright. That's why you had Mini, MINI, vans, pick-ups & this year there was mini-based kit cars. At the end of the day, it's all for a good cause & you have a great weekend. Here's a good one - www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwNQRPVIq1k

Just because you buy a name does not mean it is the same. That means that the mini metro is classed as the same. A mini is a mini, not a metro and not a BMW. The mini van, mini clubman and mini moke all look the same'ish . BMW is not the same as an origonal mini and never will be. They have their own clubs etc. and if a world record is to be set it is one or the other. I think if you should contact GWR to find out. They don't even wave or flash as they pass in their BMW's. Never mind a union jack on a German car, I think I should stop now. lol Whatever floats your boat is OK by me, but lets be honest about it. And they have the cheek to call it MINI ONE.

Ade, are you from gors by any chance? PM me if you are. May have a hobble for you if you are the Ade i know (kind of). Need 2x XJR race cans but on my TDM but need to keep the original link pipes in tact for MOT purposes if you know what I mean! If you're not the Ade I know (kind of), then ignore this altogether.

Leighton - sorry, not the Ade you know. Which TDM do you have?
As for the world record, GWR was contacted & ALL their rules followed. That's why it failed because the cars were more than 10ft apart. Would you drive at 30+mph with only a mini's length between each one!! It was all for charity, so who cares, it's only a bit of fun!!
