Hmm dodging the issue of transvestism (if thats even a word)
I think the most I've spent on a single modification would be the £80 odd quid for the sub amplifier, with the component amp and K&N coming in joint second at roughly £70! God that list makes me sound so chavvy! I swear the results are far from! ;D

Getting the gearbox rebuilt several years back, I got stung for close on 900 quid. Yes I was ripped off.
I've also paid that and more on bodywork repairs, including a new front end and inner and outer sills/steps etc.

My estimates are set to go up, going to cost anywhere from £420 to £490 for my new wheels and tyres

Touch wood I've never had any problems with the emissions. It's just the usual wheel bearing, ball joint or rust that makes me dig deeply into my wallet every year.

i bet BINI owners would never pay the money we do to maintain their cars like us classic mini owners do, just simply trade em in for something else
