'86 Austin Mini Mayfair

Well I thought I was about time I actually put up some pictures of my car “Mini May” or “the other woman” as the girlfriend calls it. It’s pretty much a work in progress however money is always an issue, so I can’t do as much as I want to when I want to.


Back when we first looked at the car.


I woke up to find her parked outside my house on my birthday.


New seat covers.


Need to get a new bonnet badge eventually.


Sand castle competition anyone?


New wiper motor and a new alternator, engine needs to be tidied when I get the chance.


Came back to my car the other week after getting my nephew’s birthday present to find some idiot had hit my car. Still need to get this sorted out but I have a cash-flow problem at the moment.


Finally got around to fitting my new wheel arches, they’d been sitting in the living room for a while. Still need to fit the side trim though.

I will add some more pictures when I get around to it.

That's a cute looking mayfair You've got there and thankfully it Doesn't look to be messed with.
That's the problem with Minis, never having enough readies to lavish new bits on them.

thats a nice looking example you got there. not many left like that in oringinal condition.
i also got a 86 mayfair but its been played with a bit take a look under members cars in bikers new car.
