So it's essay deadline day and I was up til 4am scribbling...got up this morning to finish the damn thing off, eyes on stalks when I find my printer is broken. After flapping about like a mad woman, I manage to get it to spit out the majority of my work but by then it's 3pm...I need to be in Cardiff by 4 or they knock marks off my already doomed piece of work! ...So I get in The Min and off we go, down the bypass... trotting along merrily when all of a sudden...cough cough splutter "censored"ter miss miss... Mini isnt going anywhere near uni. My dad has buggered off to Builth Wells for the weekend, so I was stranded in KFC carpark!!! Thank God for the RAC and friends with fast Hondas, thats all I can say.

Thanks to the power of the Integra and some pretty illegal manoeuvres, I handed it in with TWO minutes to spare. And I ended up telling Mr RAC it was my points and condenser after he told me it was fuel. Pfft! ;D He fitted my spare set, though bless him and we're back on the road!!

May be worth fitting an electronic ignition so that you won't have that problem in the future Essess.
Have used Luminition Magnetronic and Optronic ignitions in the past and can recommend both for ease of fit and reliability

Aw thanks Mr Dai!! Im glad too. I was faffing a bit! Thats next on the list jc! It did the exact same thing to me last year on a deadline day. Its crazy how something so simple can mean the difference between running like a dream and being sick as a pig! Bless her. I'll let my dad know the ones youve suggested. Better save a few pennies up. Thanks for coming out to see me Lawson! I broke down again after that! Good job the RAC man followed me... He only redid the gap in the carpark...ended up fitting the new bits in Cwmbach! Two breakdowns in one day!
