Oh joy. I luuuuv changing windscreens. Taking the old one out is easy. If You're not using the old seal, after taking the filler strip out, get a sharp knife, Stanley etc and cut the rubber in the filler strip channel. It's thinner there. You only need to cut alomg the top and around the two top corners and about 1/2 way down the screen. Push the screen out from inside the car gently, starting in one of the top corners. If the old seal is cut it should be easy enough, depending on how hard the old seal is. I usually push one side free of the seal, then the screen can normally be pulled out of the old seal. Take it easy though because screens are fairly fragile when they aren't fitted. Second instalment next week. ;D ;D

Tee Hee. Only jesting with ya. ;D As Richy says, Use Fairy liquid or similar. I would recommend using windscreen sealer as well, especially in the channel which sits over the windscreen surround. I even put some sealer in the glass channel as well, and guess what, not a drop of water gets through. Yes its more fiddly and fussy, and you may need to clean up the excess sealer afterwards but, I've got dry feet. The best part about changing the screen in this sort of weather is, the heat will soften the windscreen rubber and make it more pliable, and the steel surrounding the windscreen will expand a little bit as well thus making it easier to pop the new screen in. If ever there was such a thing.
