what a swine of a job that is, i changed my passenger door mech today, but its easy when you learn the hard way, i washed, waxed the car cleaned the minilites with "wonder wheels" good stuff that is, real good,, blacked out the tyres, hoovered inside, new carpets, and shes looking real smart, (for a change) ready for the l2b now!

Wonder Wheels is an excellent product, even though I don't need to use it much now as I have EBC Greenstuff brake pads.
There is virtually no brake dust and they seem to work well for me with no brake fade problems too.

the window mech change is easy once youve done one of em,,, but a bitch if you aint!

So long as you make sure to put a piece of wood in the mechanism hole to stop the glass dropping, you're usually alright.

well i found (in the end) drop the door glass onto the mech arms, then screw the mach up and into place, easy, but only if you know how, trial and error,,,,,

Well the regulator channels which support the glass are where the arms go, but yes it can be a bit fiddly.
