even tho im currently in the process of painting it i realised i want somthing abit diffrent, so im now thinking of ford asbo orange  with a metalic flake black roof and metalic black alloys under some grp 5 arches. should make me stand out abit  any thoughts? |

yeah same as the ST if it realy is that much im gonna have a re think,
would only need two ltrs and would do it my self but £300 on paint ummm no. lol

honda have some sexy metal flake colours regarding the black metal flake....
i heard ford made the paint expensive. no idea it was that much though!
can get house of kolors for a little ore than that!!!

Love the Ford Asbo Orange but the price / Ltr is stupid!  Would look amazing on a Mini with a black roof as you planned though!  What about just ordinary non metalic bright Orange instead  jc |

well now i know what sort of price asbo orange is i may well just go for a solid orange

Fiat do a very close colour to the asbo orange, just not as much pearl effect, might be worth pricing that up  will get onto that tomorro thanks |

Deffo go for some type of orange/black roof, always thaught it looks the balls on a mini.

Also, if your going for the ST Orange, your going to need more than 2ltrs... its a VERY thin, transparant colour....
When I got a past project quoted, they said its around £120-£150 per litre and they'll need the minimum of 2.5-3ltrs....

Been thinking alot about this recenly and im now thinking that it may look better on a clubman, and it just so happens that i know of 1 for sale ;D

ive seen the fiat colour today! looks very nice in the light! but doesnt look as deep as the ST.

got a day off tomorro so im hoping to pop to my local paint suppliers and look at colour charts and find out prices, i think that fiat orange is no.1 choice now, would love asbo but its just to expensive

good point actually.

orange is a great colour,i was going to do mini in black and the sprayer said trust me and go for the proper 1275 gt orange and so glad i did,it gets noticed !
