sooty has been playing up again so took the plunge and got a set of these......
they arrived earlier so will let you know how good or bad they are......look easy to fit and have wires ect so no butchering the loom....wish me and sooty luck...lol

will sort some pics tomorrow...if the car isnt still burning...!!!!!!!
the ignition unit is easy to fit.....all wires up to existing wiring or connections and just pop into the dizzy......very simple and it works....well it would if my B****Y car was running ...

Your distributor should be stamped with a number on the Dizzy body, usually on the left hand side as you look at it in the engine bay..

sorry...still no pics but will try to get some up.....
we did the head gasket today and with a jump start from byrons car shes running fine....so i`m happy so far with this leki ignition, think she needs a tweek on the timing....but nothing too bad

Did you manage to take the photographs of the electronic ignition replacement parts? Also what distrubitor type is it? 45? or 59 d type? As I'd like to replace my points in my 1989 mini, which is fitted with a 998cc engine. I was waiting for you to finish off this information on the replacement electroinc ignition, before buying a kit, but I'm not sure it would fit my 59d type distrubitor.

still no photos...i forgot...doh....will try to remember to take some on wed when the recon head arrives and gets fitted its for a 45 dizzy, not sure if it will fit into the 59d, try emailing the company and asking them.....its running on my 1275 cooper and has been great (considering my rubbish car !!!...lol...).

took these on thurs, it went on a crypton tune thingy earlier and there was not problem with it, producing a good spark and electrics all happy. this is the dizzy and the coil where the wire attaches ju
