bought a droplink so i can adjust the steering column.took out the original sheer bolt and still cant figure out what else i gotta do to adjust the column downwards.pls help

Did you slacken the steering rack U clamps.??

no i didnt do that.the column was still solid.so i'd better do that then.also when i take foot off accelerator the car revs to 1700 then back down whenever i do it.its a 1.3i

its prob something with the ecu then.i'll live with it.do you know if having racing numbers on side of car illegal.been told different things

with the numbers, your allowed them but you must have a solid black line going through them ( diagonally) apparently with out it you can be accused of street racing/ taking part in road events etc etc, it is a stupid rule if you ask me |

i got a 94 cooper.needs a bit of tidying up but not too bad.not sure how to put photo's on here with my mobile.i have seen a few mini's about.there's a blue cooper on here i recognise.think her name was something harris

No i don't but i know that one you've seen.... it is blue..R reg i think....rather pretty ;D Mines BRG on a H... you'll probably see it down by the cricket club

oh right.thats the one i was thinking of.:-).i pass there about 5.10 in my red l plate and there is a black b plate not far behind and then a red cooper with private plate.minis are everywhere lol
