can anyone advise on this as im thinking of having elevtirc ignition after the recent probelms? whats the pros and cons ? expensive? and is it easy to fit inplace of my recent ignition? Thanks peps  |

There is also the Megajolt system. There's a good thread about it on here somewhere. Ljones has one fitted to his Mini and swears by it.  |

yeah thats also severly tempting me. my main problem is not being able to modify the pulley for a triggerwheel and not being able to weld to make a sensor mount... Also the local scrap yard charges what he wants so the stuff from the fiesta id need would probably be 60ish knowing him =/ otherwise id strongly consider it  |

I have a 2nd hand electronic ignition complete dizzy for sale. Was removed from a running 1275 i had a few years back.
If interested give me a call at the shop.

Mapable ignition.
gives you the right advance and timing anywhere through the rev range, and a better spark.
meaning more power. more economy.
and the fact you (should) never have to mess with it again once its fitted except for new HT leads every now and then.

if someone could sort out the trigger wheel and sensor mount for me then i would definately get megajolt because its about the same price as a full leccy ignition set up...
