ive changed both tie bars on the mini but not sure if they are at the right length.....what should they be??
the old ones came off badly, one was very bent and the other needed the help of an angle grinder, drill and hammer to get it off....hence i couldnt measure either of them properly

Do you mean the bottom tie bars that connect from the bottom arm to the subframe.  Go and measure one up for you now. |

thats them.....the car seems to be pulling a bit and since thats the only thing we changed then it must be the prob......i did it as close as i could but its not good enough...lol

OK, the measurement is average 360mm between the centre of the hole that the small bolt goes through on the bottom arm, to the back of the big welded on washer.
And total length was averaging 420mm. End to end.
