just doesnt seem to have the same power as everyone elses.. a 998cc can seem to do alot better then mine on a motorway . i cant even riskputting mine on a motorway as it doesnt wanted to go anyfast then just before 50 mph... i know my car used to have the power and now it just doesnt at all. we recently changed the headgasket and the new manifold and exhaust system... but it has no power behind it at all... everytime i change gear above 30mph it seems to dip its revs and it doesnt gain speed very normal at all :S its hard to explain but it just isnt doing what its ment to .. can anyone help?? i dont want to be a girl racer by the way i just want my car to drive like it should

If it's got a carb, then I'd take it here for a session on the rollers: - www.willfieldmotors.co.uk/There's obviously something wrong somewhere and it's not getting the right fuel/air mix.

Twp question time. Are any of your brakes binding.?? Jack each wheel off the ground 1 at a time and turn it by hand. They should turn with very little resistance.

my brakes have been really squeaky lately. lukes dad checked one the other night when he had the time and it was ok. but the bolts at the front of the subframe have snapped? if theyll affect the speed?
