Do you think that an all black bonnet along with the black roof and black grill would be a bit too much of an area of black   I would remove the 2 thin black bonnet stripes and fit the 4" wide black 'Cooper' type stripes on the edges of the bonnet and maybe get 2 " Jaffa" script badges made up in orange to go on the stripes Maybe change the bonnet badge inset for a black or orange one as well Just a thought of course !!!  ;D jc |

Thanks for the suggestions but im trying to make the car look less busy, I dont like the clutter of badges, stripes and things that dont make the car look smooth and plain.

Well what I would like to do when cash allows is to have the wheels refurbed. But have them totally black with either a chomr or orange pinstripe around the very edge lip of the rim. Could mimic this on the bonnet too.....

I like the motor as it is, I think a black bonnet would be too much black.

If I was gonna keep stripes I'm tempted to put a thick black one and a thin one next to it. But off centre them

Bugger, I've just peeled the strip back a little bit and cleaed up the area but the line between faded paint and hidden paint is obvious so I've stuck it back down now  The stripes are going to have to stay for now |
