well today whilst going to look at ashcullen1989's mini for him my wipers decided to pack in well i say packed in they wudnt turn off which meant with a dry screen the friction would stop the arms moving and start to burn out the motor after a short trip home ( keeping the screen wet) i set about investigating it took me longer getting the motor out than fixing the problem thanks to all the injection loom etc in the way any way the problem was the park switch which regardless to popular belief on some over forums you can open up. so opened it up and out run a load of water and the contacts inside where full of gunk so a few min with some wet&dry cleaned them up put it all back together and once again i have a fully working mini ;D just wish i cud have done it in the garage and not outside in the cold and dark

Nice one, but if that park-switch causes any more grief then consider replacing it as they can and do cause utter mayhem on that circuit.

Cant believe you would destroy a gorgeous mini like that one This was my favorite kind of mini when I got into them, hence my own one. Anyway, what spares are you saving? Pretty much everything?
