irhg this may sound liek a silly question but one of my headlamps wont go on the second light setting... does that mean the bulbs gone as it only works with its on dim light or when i put main beams on but wont work on the normal setting ... if that makes any sense...
the other ones working fine on all settings...
my mot is on friday and i dont want that being a problem could it possible be the bulb or wiring ? how can i tell? and how do i change it :S

if it not sealed beam the prob should be the bulb as that normally what wrong if 1 of the 2 settings does'nt work on just 1 headlamp but it most prob sealed beam as phil said

If you cant find any then i got in stock the wipac complete halogen conversion kit.
Comes with lamps, bulbs and sidelight holder and wiring. Basically everything to convert from sealed beam to halogen. RRP is £39.99 inc halogen bulbs.

could be the wires leading to the actul headlamp itself. the clip on the back of the bulb with the connections in may be mangled? have a look at that, especially where the wires come out of the back.

Yep. Good call Coedy. Also check the rubber block connector which will be under the bonnet slam panel. Check the colours of the wires where they go into the back of the light and then look for the same colour wires that go into rubber block.

needs abit of welding , small hole in the boot and a split in the front floor. other little bits and pieces to sort out it was two pages of fails but most of them was tightening up things and new bolts.
