repair workshop and school

Here is an idea, it may have already been discussed in the past and binned but here goes. I am like many people in the club who have a basic knowledge of mechanics. If any person out there who has a vast knowledge and a car they are doing up from scratch could us lesser mortals not tip up at your garage and watch and learn. Or for those willing to speak infront of a class we could meet somewhere get a beer and people could stand up and show how to strip things or fualt find. For instance classes could be run on body work, complete engine strip etc. By the way there is a bloke selling a dvd on ebay for a complete step by step strip and rebuild of Beetle engines this would be a good idea for mini engines me thinks. What do people think and who has the knowledge to start these master classes.

What with the nights drawing in i thought this could be a good way to meet.

thats a very good idea....

i know byron would be great in showing people how to accurately through a hammer across a garage in frustration !!!!!!

i think may members have their special areas of expertise that can help others

you forgot to mention i good at standing on the engine + jumping up + down cos the engine won't go back in when just fitted new engine mounts ;D

I would be happy to give any help or advice to anybody by coming along to a meeting somewhere. Preferably a bar somewhere.lol
