...... something called an ignition sealer Someone has recommended it to me, apparently it's a spray that acts like a film to keep the water and damp out of the dizzy cap and leads. Anyone tried it and what did you think ?

I lead a sheltered life so , no, i haven't heard of it to be honest. Have or are you using an ignition shield on Charlie.?? They look ugly as sin, but they do stop the damp affecting the leccy bits.

Marigold glove, cut the finer tips off, feed the cap into the wirst of the glove, pull the ht leads out of each of the fingers, clip the cap onto the dizzy, pull the wrist over onto the dizzy, cable tie it on.
thats the free option that looks a tiiinnny bit better than a weather shield. id rather do that than squirt gunk all over it to be honest...

i know the stuff you on about, used to sell it in the wharehouse i worked in + was'nt a massive seller by any means. never used it myself so can't say if it any good but by the amount we sold compared to other similar products i would imagine it not that great ( based on sales alone )

Didn't think it would be much good but just thought I'd ask. Yes I do have a shield on Charlie and I have used a marigold in the past on other minis. ;D Thanks anyway
