Went into work this afternoon to b told the company we work for has gone bust..great thats the 2 of us out of work just before xmas

thats terible news at any time of year but this close to xmas its even worse, i hope you find another job(s) soon.

Gutted for you.   Companies are laying staff off in just about every employment sector. This country is in one heck of a mess and it'll get worse before it gets better. Hope you can find something soon. |

Thanks everyone..glad i finished the xmas shopping last week and finished the mini..it wouldnt b so bad if it was only me working there but as the old man worked there too...its really going to hit us hard...never mind..theres worse things in life...going to ring round every bus company in swansea in the morning....fingers crossed...

Well it does get worse..spoke to the dole today and they told me i aint going to get any money b4 the new year..but they were quick enf to stop my tax cerdits...looks like i'll b trying to sell my body down the docks..but i dont think i'll get anything...

My missus could only get Job Seekers Allowance when she took EVR and that only lasted a few months. After 25 years paying into the system she had practically sod all back. This country sucks.  |

Dont know what we going to do...the only income we got is child benifit coming in..and they told us we got to live on that.
