Well okay the seller is lying as it's not a 1950's/50 year old Mini steering wheel as such, ere nope. Going by the centre badge it's clearly from a post October 1969 MKIII Mini, but that wheel got fitted to all round nosed Minis right up to something like 1978 and after the Mini became MKIV! So it could be just 30 years of age instead? But what bothers me more is I had this very bus twirler steering wheel on my first Mini (Tahiti Blue 1975 MKIII Mini 1000), although I changed it for the obligatory sportier type wheel which I bought from Halfords! Then to cut a long story short, even though I kept that old wheel as a kind of memento (with another from an old 1985 Mini City E that I once owned and similarly decked out with a sportier type wheel), my late dad went and threw those and a load of other stuff on the skip when he decided to clear out the garage. Okay that was a few years ago, but I'm kicking myself now: - cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=130280239190

Oh and I did PM the seller pointing out his mistaken descriptions and he said he'd amend them (which he clearly hasn't) and he told me he didn't know anything about Minis as he was more of a Porche man!
