I can remember Jeremy from some 20 plus years ago, as he was also a member of the long defunct 'Gwent Mini Club' (pretty much the only Mini Club in Wales at the time.)

He's good if you need something NOW! he usualy has a good stock of parts and will help if you need to track something down. Although things are quite expensive, one good thing is that if the shop is closed and you give him a ring he'll pop around and open it up for you.

Found a lovely little white one in Pic up spares today, had a bit of a rear ender, but with a new bootlid and a quick go on a jig (or the 4x4 in boycies case ) it could be well on the way to being a minter! Boot floor was ok from what I could see (transit van blocked the back in so getting in the boot was tricky) Someone go buy him, he looked sad and lonely!

Yeah it really was, I was surprised. Dunno if it was written off, the boot wasnt that bad, I've seen a lot worse. Sills good, boot floor good, no rust holes anywhere, original comission plaques on the slam panel, good looking engine, real potential!

how much are bootlids new? more than £150 (including prep and paint and labour) and itll be a write off. =/. (an economical write off) and you could get it independantly assessed after and it could have the write off statement removed...

Take what you want from him, I would like to see his parts used on someones mini rather than crushed.
Been thinking about things and I dont think I am going to buy another one anytime soon, but that doesnt mean my love for the mini is gone.
