im planning on buying coilovers from huddersfield spares. they have two options for the gaz coilovers. low offset and standard offset? does anyone know the difference?? also has anyone tried the protech coilovers? if so comments on those please? cheers.

I've got a pair of Gaz Coilovers that i'll be using on the Woody. I'd imagine that the difference is in actual ride height. If the Mini is going to be lowered significantly you'll need the low version.

arr. i have the low offset ones now. i thought at first it was maybe the offset position of the top mounting bolt.

ive got coilovers on the mini and the hornet and i really wish i had stayed with the standard setup :-/not really the best option for regular road use.cant seem to stop the car bouncing at high speed and ive tried all the settings over the last six months :Pmy advice is stick with the standard set up and save yourself some money and fillings ;DDEAN ;D

ive already done it now lol. have you had the car corner weighted? i took mine down the road and it doesnt move upto 80 so.. havnt been anywhere near a motorway yet though. but im having it corner weighted so should be ok. and tracked and cambered.
