Well it looks as if Endaf will be competing in every round of the 2009 Mini Miglia Championship. WOOHOOO. Dave Edgecombe will also be out in his Mig. I will update this thread with the teams progress as and when.

With some help from you Rich. When i left his workshop earlier the Mig was on the lift having it's exhaust fitted and the brakes were about to be bled.. Endaf will be in Birmingham at 08.00 AM tomorrow to put it on the dyno and hopefully be testing the Mig on track in the afternoon at ANO track. So when does he sleep.?

We left the workshop after 3am, I got picked up again at 7.30 and went to the rollers, few teathing problems but all sorted now. We did a few mods which gained a few bhp. Sadly we didn't have time to take it to the track. Who needs testing anyway??

Ha Ha. ;D Only too glad to give the Team a hand, enjoyed every minute. Remember to treat the windscreen with Rain-X just in case the wiper packs up. Oh, POB LWC.

Endaf Finished in 4th place overall in his Miglia at Rockingham earlier today. Huw Davies finished 10th overall in his Mini Se7en. Just over 4 seconds seperated the top 5 places so the racing was pretty close. Good work team.

well it was actually a massive disaster from lunch time friday, got the mig all sorted and was about to load up on the trailer when the engine developed a missfire, long story but our brand new stonking engine was fuc**d. massive pissed off and gutted. we had a choice, either go down town and get wrecked or put a mig engine together out of the bits under the bench. . . . bloody bench it was. I just thought to go and get some pionts as we were way down on power. so to come away with 4th place was bloody awsome !! loads of work for mr engine builder now until round 2 and 3 at silverstone !

I feel just as gutted for you Ens. As you said, 4th was a pretty damn good result under the circumstances.

With a week to go before the double header at Silverstone Endafs Mig is fit and ready to go. The defective head has been binned for a new replacement and 40 laps of testing were successful. So, all that's left to do is blag a lift to Silverstone.

I had the dubious pleasure of being in the company of the Sheepspeed team last Sunday at Castle Combe for the Miglias and Se7ens racing. So, it was 3.30 am alarm call to get myself up to Sheepspeed headquarters by 5.00 am. Load the Mig on the trailer, chuck the tools, tyres and all the other pit gear in the Tranny and away to go. It rained most of the way to Castle Combe and thankfully stopped long enough to get the party tent garage erected. Endaf went to sign on while the Mig had a quick check over before scrutineering. With all the official stuff over with further checks were carried out and the Mig was given an oil and filter change. The mapping was re- checked, Rain-x smeared onto the screen, tyre pressures checked and the Mig was ready for qualifying. It was touch and go whether to use slicks or wets, but eventually wets were the order of the day. Endaf had a so-so qualifying coming 7th out of an 18 car grid. It appears that, although the wets looked to be in good condition they were so old the compound / rubber had gone off. Hence the Mig was under steering in the bends. The wallet got abused and 2 new wets were stuck on the front of the Mig for the race. More nut and bolt checks, more Rain-x, check all the corner weights, dry the inside of the Mig, dry Endafs boots. Jimbo re-mapped the engine for the expected wet conditions and before we knew it, the race was upon us. The team dragged a set of dry tyres, jack etc up to the pits, but we didn't need them, because it absolutely lashed it down. Endaf had a blinding start and was in 2nd place going into Quarry (new tyres do help). In the meantime Hack, who had a poor start, was storming through the field and by lap 4 was in the lead having passed Endaf and Thompson. By lap 6 or 7 the conditions were so bad the safety car was deployed. 3rd place was in the bag until the gremlins which have plagued the team this year struck again with Endafs Mig stopping out on the track with 2 laps to go. So a dissappointed team, most of us with trench foot, loaded all the gear back in the tranny and made our weary way home. A big thanks to Endaf Jimbo and Foxy for a great day, apart from the result. The trench foot has all but cleared up now. Didn't take many pics because it was raining too much.
