don't even go there, had to go down my nephews lock up yard where the bob is to check him over as had a phone call 8am this morning saying 1 of my nephews 4 x 4's had bits nicked of it + has cost him £180 to replace. as far as i can see it ok at moment but want to get sons car out of my garage if he pulls his finger out + sorts it out + then can make a start on bob

How you gonna wire up the hazards switch, i've heard its a b!tch to work out how to change it over to a nicer looking switch its easy, i wrote a guide a while back which i put on minifinity will see if i can find it if any ones intrested? if you can find it ....can u send me the link to it, i think ive got it sussed but could do with another view on how its done....ty

cant find it, probably down to the minifinity crash a few months back. i've got a simple wireing diagram which i'll dig out

qouting oldish post the hoods are the ones that clip into original clock surround am i right lj? i have done that with mine.

well my holes are cut, new loom almost ready to go in....(borrowed your idea too for the bits aorund the clocks...lol...), just need to wire up the new switches to the loom and paint the dash....
ive gone for using the holes that held the orininal top rail in, bolts are fibreglassed into the dash, i really hope it will be installed ready for malvern, if not its going to look very very messy in there

i put bolts through the top rail and nuts and then flat headed allen nuts to screw onto the bolt thread. and then l brackets around the bottom rail. and i made a centre steady out of alloy which also hides my reverse swithc wires

well its not going in for malvern, the loom is untested and the dash needs a bit more paint....off to put the old dash back in so it looks presentable

yep...even the hazzards...had probs wiv one one side of the hazzard lights but all sorted now, and appart from a few teething probs its all running great... ju

ah glad its working for you, its how i did mine and touch wood i've had no problems. the other way to sort them was using 3 or 4 relays in some weird arrangment which i thought just over complicated things.
im looking forward to seeing it

we got 3 pin illuminated rocker switches in ours, know ljones got flick switches in his if that helps at all. will get ju to post pic up of dash when she can be botherd lol
