Is it hard to fit an Alarm/Immobilizer to a Mini?
And what do you think would be the best to fit?
Thanks.

if your any good at reading instructions and wireing diagrams it will be easy. as for the best i could not say i know TOAD alarms are cat 1 which means you get cheaper insurance as their praticly imposible to nick but you pay a small fortune for one to start with

prob is tho for a cat1 its about £300 quid, but a cat2 you can get for around £99 quid. ask your insurance if you put a cat1 on how much will you insurance drop by then ask about a cat2. you will find out a cat2 will be the cheaper of the 2 @ your age sorry. as its not what you got in the car your age is what worries insurance companys. you can fit a hidden flick on/off switch that will act as a bit of an immobilizer so you take the power from the last turn of the key away from starting the car. or buy a cut off switch that kills the battery when you take the key out.

you might be better getting a cat 2 immobilizer and getting a cheap alarm with a tilt switch.
