ive bought a boot seal for mine which grips to the lip around boot opening. note theres no lip on my boot lid as its 1992. is there another seal which is for mine as my boot doesnt close enough for me to lock it due to this seal?? any ideas? .. jj.

swap the hindges around, their handed and if they are on the wrong side it prevents the boot closing

I've heard of this problem before and I'm sure the answer was to force it and keep it locked. The seal will then be more compliant with use.

Mine is a bit tight to shut, but thats cause of the bash on the back, even when it was straight it would need a good shove....in the end i poped a few washers between the lock and the bootlid, and bought the lock out a bit, when the boot rubber got used to that i took the washers off, it was still closing ok and no probs locking it at all.
