Prices for resprays are realy hard to guess, some places will do a full car for £300 others will charge £1000, best bet is to try and take it to a few different places, try to get recomendations from people who have had work done, Usually the more you pay the better the job but there are always execptions to that

very true. but so is trying to match a old colour as sun etc fading, different polishes been used over years etc etc. yak yak.. anyway like phil said get qoutes and find out where people are happiest taking there cars and see what hte finish is like. to do a respray inside and out you would be looking at 700ish depending on what imperfections may lye underneath your paint at the moment. and also if you can or get whoevers painting it seal the fibreglass ffrom the inside (thats what i would do but im fussy) as water can get inside the wadding and interfere with the paint, primers etc used. all depending on the quality of the flip front. right im going to stop. my fingures are aching

Is matt paint cool? Is it cheaper or more expensive than standard gloss?

matt is much cheaper and you could do it yourself easily, a pain to keep clean though
