Well I've heard that the flasher units Halfords sell are like chocolate teapots and don't last long. I got a replacement hazard warning light flasher unit for mine from Somerford Minis a few years back after my original died and that's still working fine.

Which flasher unit or relay did you replace? Did you actually have a flasher unit (either a small square or round unit) mounted to the left of your wiper motor after all? Please give us more information, so we're able to help you?

Right, well I'd imagine that couldn't have been the problem then?
So check the wiring and fuse information that I posted on the 1st page of this thread and check/replace all the related fuses and in-line fuses just in case.
Then it'd be worth replacing the hazard warning panel switch itself perhaps?
