Well I've heard that the flasher units Halfords sell are like chocolate teapots and don't last long. I got a replacement hazard warning light flasher unit for mine from Somerford Minis a few years back after my original died and that's still working fine.  |

Which flasher unit or relay did you replace? Did you actually have a flasher unit (either a small square or round unit) mounted to the left of your wiper motor after all? Please give us more information, so we're able to help you?  |

Right, well I'd imagine that couldn't have been the problem then?
So check the wiring and fuse information that I posted on the 1st page of this thread and check/replace all the related fuses and in-line fuses just in case.
Then it'd be worth replacing the hazard warning panel switch itself perhaps?
