Ok i need to choose them asap so they will be delivered in time and i can fit them before it goes for paint.
At the moment i got plastic ones on there and they look rubish, I got wheels i they are 12"x5.5 i think but im am going to get wider wheels in time. but when i get wider wheels i want the wheels to stick out of the arches a bit anyway so what does everyone suggest? The wheels im think about getting are something like JJ's 13x7's

Worth keeping in mind that if the wheels stick out further than the arches then you will be likely to fail mot and pick up some points if stopped by the police

you cant fail an mot for them you can get an advisory tho, but yes the police don't take kindly to it and they can give points and a fixed fine. i read somewhere that its 3 points per wheel but I'm not to convinced it will be that high an offense the last time i checked the ruling was when viewing the arch from above no tread should be visible, the bulge in the side wall is OK but tread isn't

You can go bumperless as long as you get rid of the lip, otherwise its seen as a sharp object which would do more harm if you struck someone

basically it was the police officer being awkward, he's totally de-seamed his mini but the police officer claimed he had to have bumpers on it so gave him a producer for that as well as the wheels

Thats a first for me, I always thought you could do away with them as long as there was no sharp seam But It seems like the police are making the rules up as they go along these days
