That's annoying. Don't know what they're doing half the time.

Ebay does seem to be the most reliable at the moment Saying that jamie ordered chrome trim and mirrors from minispares last week and they arrived the next day

I've never had a problem with Mini Spares Potters Bar, although I did use Mini Spares North once (because someone said they were great) and I got messed around a bit as they didn't process my order. So I just mentioned how I regularly chat with Simon (whose the boss at Potters Bar) on The Mini Forum (he hangs out there from time to time) and hey presto my parts arrived the following day. Either way, if you're not happy then try contacting Simon on The Mini Forum. He's usually in Mini Chat and if you leave a message or PM him, you'll usually get a response and he'll look into your problem. Mini Spares, Somerford and Moss are the 3 I tend to use in that order. I've also heard that Mini Machine (or M Machine since Adolf had his way) are also superb, especially for non genuine early panels.

think dan had a problem with them not so long ago, ordered the rocker cover t bar bolts, they sent the wrong colour and he sent it back, only to get the wrong colour again as a replacement :/ he got fed up in the end cos they reckoned it was right....at least thats what i remember if i listened properly ... its usually the other way around

Nah that was minisport love, basically I think they were too lazy to sift through the box of T-bars to look for the right shade of blue for me, so sent out the first matching pair they could. Minispares are nothing short of great service, simon is really tidy and the shop on a whole is really good. Website is a bit crap though, too many washers and nuts, not enough proper parts lol

Yes Mini Spares are superb, but it can be like looking for a needle in a haystack on their website and the search function doesn't always work too well either. So I tend to check the fantastic shop pdf files on Somerford Minis excellent web site, get the part numbers and then use them on Mini Spares site (they usually work a treat and the parts then show up) to compare prices between both companies.
