;D Recently I replaced all the rubber cones on Jemy in an effort to improve ride quality, cost a small fortune and a day of hard work but it did improve the ride quality so I thought it was well worth the effort. Now I found these Minitastic coils and did a bit of research and decided to give it a try, not cheap, about £200 less Gaz shocks which are recommended. Well it took the best part of a day to fit and then for the test drive. What a different car, impressed is an understatement, speed humps and pot holes no longer an issue and the handling has made a huge difference, corners much better without any rolling and the whole ride is smooth. I'll post regular updates to see if anything changes but first impression is good. ;D

Awsome! thats what i want to hear! ;D I'll be going down this route when I get around to it...
which springs did you go for? Ive read that the Fast Road springs are the ones to go for for every day use as the softer ones make you sway all over the place?

;D ;D ;D Ok, I gave them a good test coming back from Caerphilly and I deliberately drove over every bump, hole, cave at speed and was grinning all the way. Acceleration was smooth and combined with the fact that I have the ultimate engine steady fitted, it was like driving a whole new car. I fitted the Town Ride cos I'm not getting any younger and my body gets enough knocks at kick boxing and would say that they are spot on. If anybody wants to have a run out in mine then I'm sure it can be arranged, test run a stretch of road in yours first and then do it in Jemy and you decide before shelling out £200 notes but I will say that it was the best £200 spent in my personal opinion. Combined with the fact that they are coupled with adjusta rides you can set your car up perfectly. Got to say that I am running with standard Rover Shocks which are new and I'm Happy, Happy, Happy. ;D ;D ;D

can these work with lowered suspension ? They come with adjusta rides which are shorter than the standard trumpets but give you the option of setting up good height, I'd like to say yes but I would recommend contacting Minitastic first before shelling out the dosh.

Oh just what I needed to hear, I REALLY want the minitastic setup. Apparantly accoring to miniworld's feature on them a while ago, the full race spec is more than good enough for everyday road use, and to be fair my mini has one of the worst rides of any car lol. But it handles well hehe. I'm happy to make that compromise now, comfort is relative for me, and anythings gotta be better than she is now hehe. I'd love to see a conversion up close though.
