I took the rear one off because I reversed into a farm gate (In the fog, to my defence) I took my front one of because it had a dent in it too, alhough I think someone else did that overnight and didn't tell me because I certainly did not hit anything. Anyway I'm not asking this so much for the lack of bumpers, I'm asking because those thin pieces of metal that support the bumpers are now bare and they look pretty lethal. Anyone been in the same situation?

You will need them for the mot only way around it is to grind the lip down and weld it up

The smooth look will look great, but bare in mind if someone just taps your car the bodywork will get damaged it would be much easier to swap bumpers

I don't think it would, The examiner would be leaving himself wide open to losing his license if he passed it and then you knocked someone over

Oh thats fair enough actually. I didn't think. The day I put a thin rubber trim on, is the day I'd knock someone down. Thats just my luck. Sods law!

Or you could just borrow my bumpers just for the MOT Just until you sort yours out...

Was thinking about the ones off mine lol but come to think of it i know have 3 there, which wouldn't fit on my car for some reason Can't remember why I'll be up the other house tomorrow will check then - your welcome to them, gotta clear out the shed anyway, will let you know....
