The L2B started as something so small that has grown over the years, however it is only a run that leaves a embarrassing city and arrive at another not so appealing place, if only those individuals were lucky enough to take part in the Cardiff to Holyhead Run 2010 then they would see real roads and outstanding countryside, those roads were made for Minis, done the run so many times and it never ceases to amaze me, South to North, now theres an idea, LSMOC would find it hard to beat, especially as it would only be open to the TRUE Mini (Binis need not apply) owner in their real classic. What do you think South Wales Minis ?, I'm sure we could pull it off.

I've organised events for a couple of hundred before and been involved in road run events organising Police and brake down but it has been a while but I know we can do it, christ, those L2B muppets always pull it off even though it is poorly organised, camping, family entertainment, road run and more camping, arrive Friday, Drive and camp/party Saturday go home Sunday. Sound like a plan?

Sounds great and we'll help out if we can because back in 1995 we travelled up to Porthmadog on a camping holiday and as the weather wasn't too great up there, we decided to drive South and spend the rest of the time in Tenby. (Well we'd visited Portmeirion the fantastic village from the 1960's weird TV series 'The Prisoner' which featured Mini Mokes). We only had Katy back then and it took a good few hours to get up there and then down to Tenby. We took the picturesque coastal road, but there's not many shops on those roads though. Mind you here we are outside a shop having a break and buying supplies (before we bought the Halfords roof-box): - Hard to believe that was 14 years ago.

should be around a 5 hour drive,
so it could be an option to stop half way for food etc. hows about a slight detour across to aberystwyth (as its roughly half way) see if we can have permission to park on the prom meet up with the aberystwyth mini club grab some food etc then be on our way again ?
should be roughly 2.5 hours to aber then 2.5 hours to holyhead.

I love the drive to Aber, I've done it 3 or 4 times now. Always stop in the pub in Llandewibrefi for food lol. Not that there'd be room for us to do that as it's so small!!
