As you know I have won an interior makeover and I have to make a decision on what sort of interior I should be going for. I quite like the idea of a biscuit colour or red but is this gonna be a mare to keep clean, or should I just go for black as this will be easier to keep on top of? I still have to source front and rear seats anyway so no panic on getting it to match the seats yet. Any advice? The car may end up silver or black or maybe something completely different. I really can't decide.

Black always looks good and will match any colour you decide for the car, I've always fancied the bisquit colour, but with the kids climbing in and out all the time it wouldnt look good in mine for more than a week

Kids not an issue for me as it won't be used as a family car. It's just I am a messy ba****d. Haha. I'd love a cream leather interior with cream carpets but the carpets would be ruined with me. I think it will have to be black carpets in the least.

Go for red, its a good contrasting colour and goes with almost any colour car (maybe not pink) especially if you are thinking of going for silver or black exterior, keeping it clean is an issue but its worth that bit more of an effort for how good it will look.

I agree with Phil and black carpets are easy to keep clean as they don't look shabby like lighter colours will after a little use. But red door cards and black/red seats would look great.

I have arranged to take delivery of the equinox off m4minis, it is being delivered on Monday evening. I will be putting the new interior into this and keeping the equinox interior for the mayfair. SORTED. Just gotta fit one of my engines into the equinox now. Probably use the gold seal 998 from the advantage I bought off big end some time ago and rebuild the 1430 for the mayfair (whenever it gets finished). At least I'll be in a mini this year. I post up the pics when I get it.
