merlins home! new ticket! hes been in the doctors for 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont ask! nightmare, but i stuck with it! still looking a bit rough aroung the gills, but all legal, i smoked the tyres off him on the way home from the mot station! i forgot how noisey he is an how well he shifts! after driving nemo for so long! he needs points, plugs, new petrol, as he aint been on the road for 11 months, god ive missed him, hes missing a wee bit, at high revs, but i,l sort that thr the week, ;D ;D ;D my neighbours are gonna freak! hes not taxed yet! ahhhh it looks like there kissing! ;D

next thing is a set of mk2 rear lights, like medusa! and rewire the reversing light! oh and did i mention paint and a good clean! put the chrome trim back on him, nemo can wee wee off now! for a bit!

Nice one Irish and my Mini needed the same bodywork treatment as seen in your 2nd picture above. I just had it blown over for now, but it needs doing properly and matching up at some point. My fault for now drowning the box sections in Waxoyl.

next thing is a set of mk2 rear lights, like medusa! and rewire the reversing light! oh and did i mention paint and a good clean! put the chrome trim back on him, nemo can wee wee off now! for a bit! I thought Medusa had mk1 rear lights?

Thanks Irish, but it all got sorted for last year's MOT. That panel just needs a respray that's all and we'll probably wait until after the end of July, to see if they find anything wrong on this years MOT.

Did you have the repair sections fitted on the side in front of the rear wheel arch ? Was it expensive? need to have both sides on Corina's done but won't be untill after the hols

yes mate, i can ask him for a price if you want me to? i,l pm you his number, tbh honest, merlin had extensive surgery, inner sills, outter sills, door steps, rear panels, floor panels, and major welding, i could go on for ever! the mot faliure list was 3 pages long! lol, i should of stripped it and scraped him really between buying everything for him and paying for the work to be done, it was close on the four figure mark but i do loves him! ;D

theres dedication for you mate got medusa's m.o.t in august + last 1 cost us £550 + that was a kick in the teeth so feel for you mate

here you go byron, more dedication! i took merlin for a quick spin today to fill up with fresh petrol, after changing the points, plugs, fan belt, (well there is a club run coming up hes going like a bat outta hell again now! ;D a smell of antifreeze came from the car, when i investigated further, the top outlet on the rad was just wobbling about with the hose attached! you guessed it! stuffed rad! the 2nd one in a month so i raided my garages for spares, i having a bonfire soon and your all invited, the 4 of em should burn for a good while this reminded me of brighton phil so while i was at it i added a new grille, i found kicking about in the Bowell's of the garage!!!! i hate minis!

I'm just praying my Mini doesn't need much doing for it's MOT at the end of July. It's not like it's done a great mileage since the last one, nor been abused or left out in the rain.

i think my last mot was £150, the red hot spent all winter in the garage aswell, he just caught tin worm over night!

At least you got a jack that works
Mine decided to break while i was changing my wheels over then i had to use a stupid one which didnt have a bar and took me 45mins to change 3 wheels lol
