Hey all, I need to find out a few wire colours. I have a few wires going to the coil, white/pink and white/yel on the +ive side and white/black on the -ive side. I think this is correct but there is also a few wires coming out of the loom at the front of the engine, all the browns with the round lugs are going to the starter along with the thick brown/red as well as white/yel (I think it goes to the starter anyway) and I have a white/black and green/light blue going to somewhere near the distributor but seeing as my manual only goes to 86 the white/yellow and green/light blue aren't in there. Anyone have a clue?

Nah m8 the oil pressure switch is white/brown. Sorted that one. They both appear to be around the dizzy but the colours aren't the same as the manual just checking 100% thats all.

The white / yellow as far as i can see connects the Starter Solenoid to the +ive side of the coil. You should have another w/b going from the - ive side of the coil to the starter solenoid where all the browns connect to.

Dai, thanks m8, I dont have a starter solenoid as such as all the contacts are on the starter itself but that is roughly what I got. I have also managed to source an electronic distributor (Metro maybe?) which has a plug and socket with a white/yellow, and white/black. Are these the same cables as mentioned above as usually you only need the white black for the dizzy to operate. Anyone ever connected in an electonic dizzy?
