I have to say that adrian flux are the best people. I have had policies for a couple of cars with them and they beat everyone hands down and thats with agreed value, well when I send the pics off . I renewed my insurance the beginnning of the month and none of the other mini insurers could beat them. the only quote I got that was cheaper was with churchill but no agreed value. I'm 22 with 3years no claims but a few non fault accidents under my belt and I'm paying 475 full comp for mine thats for a 1275 twin point.

i found quote for mine for £704 with quinn direct thats with 9points and on provisional as i had licence revoked. agreed car value at £3500 and mods listed. the other quotes from compare the market were mind boggling how they could justify it! so think 'quinn win' for me

I've been quite suprised with insurance this year, as the mini is almost on the road I have been searching for car insurance for my mini, so was getting quotes yesterday on gocompare.co.uk as a named driver with modifications declared, it would have cost me £259 so i checked in my own name expecting a high quote as although i'm 24 I dont have any NCB but was suprised that in my own name it will only cost £301, so i thought i would try adrian flux as I was recommended to and got a price of £250 in my own name!!!! growning up rocks!!! well when it comes to insurance anyway........

sometimes find chris if you have an older named driver on some policies the insurance is alot lower even if they never drive the car + you still get the ncd etc

I was looking to buy a car this week which is a 1992 and 998 on the log book with no mods declared (same spec as mine which is £900 at the moment) so decided to do a quote for it and it is £500 more expensive on insurance How come 998's from 82 onwards are more expensive to insure than pre 82 and then 998's from 88 onwards are much much more expensive again... same insurance group so where does the ''risk factor'' come from
