Slight problem discs are now on one side * gr8 day to do job hehe * I would like to keep my 10" wheel's but the caliper is scouring the inside . can i get away with spacers?, and if so what would be the best size to use. ps: thanks irish

what setup are you running? yoou could try the 3/4 inch spacers which come with extended screw on studs. these are a strong spacer. if your running 8.4 setup then your caliper will always rub. if your running 4pots designed for certain 10inchers then you might get away with spacers. more info needed..

I've heard that fitting those screw on type studs aren't a good idea?

there stronger as the make the stud thicker. and they hold the spacer in place. they are used on tracks more than longer studs.

I think your trying to put 10" wheels onto 12" disc set up? Afraid it won't and you will have to fit 12" wheels

Looks like its going to be 12" wheels then . ahhhh well better ground clearence Just seen a web site about conversions and yep its 12"-13".

You can buy some japenese import 10" wheels that will fit, but they are like gold dust now and cost a fortune

You can buy some japenese import 10" wheels that will fit, but they are like gold dust now and cost a fortune I know the ones, their the MKI Cooper S look 10" wheels from Mini Speed. They have a massive offset so they clear the 8.4" disc brake callipers.

got 12" alloys now thanks guys and gals, had to put 10mm spaces on the back as the inside was rubbing against the handbrake cabble.
