Although I'd much rather seeing 3 BINIs getting trashed, plus the sewer is just where they belong.  |

Notice when the Top Gear team were looking for insurance for thier student cars the other week a large amount of gold bars in the office behind them!!!

Maybe since that awesome film is 40 this year and the equally awesome Mini is 50? Let's hope they play nice. Still, James May owns (or owned) a Mini after buying it off e-Bay. Jeremy is a long term Mini enthusiast too.  |

Even though three minis may well end up losing their lives... I think that the fact ill get to watch an hour of my three favourite presenters have a hell of a time in three of my favourite cars doing (hopefully) really amazing stuff... just about makes it worth it...  |

theres a very good chance all 3 will be trashed but with the huge audience it should re-kindle a few peoples interest in minis or inspire younger drivers to get one True, but their not as plentiful as when they threw dozens off the cliff for the Italian Job. Good if it inspires new blood, bad if it means there's fewer examples on the road for the new blood to buy.  |

oh i was a bit gutted when they didn't use the mini in the perfect student car report! its just awesome, how could they not recommend a mini??  loving top gear this series, lets hope they play fair and leave them in one piece |

True, but it would have been nice to see real Minis. Just so long as they don't get badly abused and smashed up.

But thinking about it, my favourite film of all time is 'The Italian Job' (1969). Yet they destroyed dozens of Minis (including many rare MKI Cooper S types) making that and yet I still love it to bits (even though I found it upsetting back when I was a kid). But okay there are much fewer real Minis around now than there were back in 1969. |
