If Corina's car was in mint condition, ( new doors, repair panels fitted and a full respray) how much would a mainstream cooper be worth? It is totally un modified and has full service history plus every invoice from new, What would be a fair price ? It's only a possibilty at the moment, but with the kids growing up and not interested in coming to shows and jamie having his own mini we are thinking of just having one car to take to shows and a "normal" car for us to use for everyday transport

Well it is optimistic to say the least, although Somerford Minis cars are a bit overpriced. Although it is a damned good model and if it's anywhere near as good as mine, then it'll have 20 years (hopefully much more) of life in it and an engine that will go around the clock without much drama. Plus it looked absolutely mint following it's restoration and if the extensive rustproofing is true, then I'd say that's not a bad price. Although they'd managed to fit the anti-run on valve the wrong way around. Just a small niggle, but I hope that would be the only one?
