Jenny Agutter 'Mini' Video

If you don't know who this actress is, then just where have you been because she played the eldest daughter in the 1970 family favourite classic film 'The Railway Children': -





She also played the same part in the 1968 TV version and she then played the part of the mother in the other more recent TV version too.



Anyway it's believed that this is the 1st Mini (MK2) that she talks of failing and then passing her driving test in: -



Plus it seems she owned other Minis too many years later: -





Apart from that she's always been a lovely actress, even when she was a youngster she was amazing and never obnoxious or irritating like some.

Oh yes I forgot to say that I got that clip from one of the special Mini related programmes that made up 'Mini Night' back in early January 1999 (in time for the Minis 40th Birthday).

I plan on backing the whole lot up on my computer, although it would take forever to upload on to YouTube and I doubt they'd really interest anyone now.

For a start the first programme was 'The Mini Job' and that concerned 'The Italian Job' and it got added at the end of the later (1999) video release of the film anyway.

That building also featured as the home of the disturbed police officer as played by Sean Connery in the bleak and very brutal 1972 film 'The Offence'. (The recent TV shows 'Life On Mars' & 'Ashes To Ashes' were merely kids stuff compared to that classic British film).
