I was driving down a dual carridgway at around 60mph. When the drivers side bonnet pin failed, the bonnet moved and the catch came undone and flipped back bending the bonnet and scratching the wing. Then the passenger pin snapped because of the stress on it. Im fuming, I put the bonnet in the back and drove home, so angry I slammed the passenger door and the door pocket came off. Anyone got an old bonnet knocking around? Also, where do I stand from where I bought the Pins? there from a proper rallying shop. The packing didn't have any, "for show use only" or anything on them. They were proper job rallying ones. Can I claim the cost of the pics back from them, how about the damage too the car? Ben

Ive no idea where you stand on this dude. but I now see why lots of people go for 2 sets, one up top and one along the front edge.... I think you should be able to get the price of the pins back provided its not been on for that long.... Think tim bumped his topic in the for sale section a few days ago and said he had some bonnets, check with him. sucks tho dude

sound like you have same luck as me, also had a bonnet fly up + bend the bonnet + thats why medusa + 2 sets keeping bonnet in place. also slammed my door in temper after reverseing my 4 x 4 into a post in swansea car park + ended up smashing my door glass. guy behind was laughing untill i threatened to put him into the foundations of the next car park they built up there.
