Mate showed me new free program called " spotify " amazing libary of music.. almost everything i've searched for is there.. Just put it on my PC and its very impressive.... cant record them.. thats the prob  Unless someone else knows how  |

if you go in to the "control panel" then "sound and audio devices" on the audio tab there should be a "sound recording option", some sound cards allow you to record their out put so have a look on the drop down list and see of your card is listed if it is select it ( will have the same name as the sound play back option) the just use the sound recorder on windows select record as the track starts and stop it when it finishes then name it and save it. hopefully that should work for you  |

actuly ignore using the windows record thing it only does 60 sec clips, there must be some free software out there somewhere

downloaded the software, but still recording silence..
do I change a setting ?

cool site but from what i've seen it just links to you tube..
nowhere near the music quality of spotify...
also, little tip with the mp3 recorder, click the "enable silence detection"
then click the pause/resume...
click record, then start your song... the recording only starts when the song plays...
giving perfect start to your "back-ups" ahem..
