It's probably your fault for being a strict parent all his life, now he's come of age he's rebelling. ;D Mind you I have to admit that our 11 month old baby girl likes the taste of larger. I had a bottle of Stella on the floor and before we knew it she'd grabbed it and had a little taste. Now every time I open a bottle or a can of beer she's reaching out for a share, so I think we're going to have problems in 17 years time?

Nah our kids have always been offered whatever we have - Gareth (hightower) isnt that interested in alcohol he has the occasional 'bow' or 'kopperberg'(?) & coedy isnt bothered one way or the other he'll have a few when he's out with his mates - but sometimes drinks coke!! I think if they dont think its not allowed it hasnt got the 'must have' factor (but that may be just me! )

You're right because the friends I had who had really strict parents, ended up legless most weekends.
Where as I wasn't bothered about drinking when I came of age, because I'd been having a beer or 2 every Xmas for as long as I could remember.
;D
